2002 Ford Explorer XLS
I have a 2002 Ford Explorer XLS. I had two holes in my valve cover and when I opened it I found two pieces of plastic inside. I have no idea what it’s called and where to find a replacement. I replaced the broken cover, put the rest back together and now it won’t start. Is that piece of plastic needed? Where do I get another and what is it called? Why isn’t the car starting?

Welcome. That looks like a piece of the timing chain tensioners.
