    2003 Ford Explorer 4.6l
Hi, I purchased a 2003 Explorer 4.6l a few weeks ago.For me to register the car in my state (NSW) I need to supply VIN and Engine numbers.I know the engine number is the last 8 digits if the VIN. In this case it is 3ZA64995. The problem is the inspector needs to see this number stamped on the engine block.I have had a couple of mechanics try and locate those numbers on the block, but are unable to,such is my dilemma.
Can anybody advise me where on the block these can be found, and pics too if possible. Thanks in advance.

Would this be visible with a mirror with the engine still mounted? I am having a hell of a time seeing it. Thanks
