I think I'm posting in the right thread... Anyways,
Hello all, I have recently purchased a 2005 XLT V6 and there is an intermittent hissing noise coming from the rear when the HVAC system is on. It comes and goes about every 30 seconds. I have searched all over the web but have not found any answers. It started happening after my father recharged the AC system with a simple recharge kit that he purchased at a local auto parts store. The 2 rubber radiator hoses in the rear right by the exhaust were leaking and have been replaced in case that changes anything. We checked the AC system and the compressor kicks on and off when needed and the kicks on around 55psi and shuts off around 30. Does anyone have any suggestions? Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
