2009 Ford Ranger - A/C not working

Hello everyone. I have a 2009 Ford Ranger with an A/C that's not blowing cold air. I just got it back from the shop and they said they recharged the freon and put some dye in it so that they could trace leaks, but I didn't even get home before it started blowing hot air again. I've read that it could be a fan not working, or something wrong with the compressor/condenser, but I wanted to reach out and see if anyone could offer some useful advise or other suggestions on what I can do to fix it before I drop anymore money on this thing.
