2012 XTL base model 4x4 shocks?

Did anyone has a base model 4x2 XLT and installed the shocks of the 4x4 model? I wanted to know if this will work so that I can obtain a bit of lift.

I don't know if there is a difference in the shocks or not. I would think that to get extra 'lift' you would have to change the springs, not the shocks. I'm sure someone more familiar with this will jump in here and assist.

Shocks will not give you any lift, on any vehicle for that matter, as they only control suspension movement. Have you looked into body spacers? I believe the Interceptor models have taller spacers.

The shocks comes with the coils of the 4x4 model, that is why I am asking if it will fit
