I can see the big motor to compete with the Cherokee srt or Hennessy but not calling it the raptor. The raptor is such an awesome off road vehicle that I'd love too drive if I could afford the gas and my explorer is a glorified station wagon on steroids no matter how much stuff you bolt on, please don't cheapen the raptor name Ford. But yeah I don't think this can be true.

Don't you just love when they use a picture of an 11-15MY for a 2017MY article. Yes, it is fake.

April Fools lmao. The current design of the Explorer limits the torque to 350 lb-ft of torque (PTU is weak).

No to mention the Raptor is no longer available with a V8...

The mention of a V-8 sealed it as a hoax right away.

The twin turbo 3.6 is supposed to put out in excess of 600 HP in the upcoming GT. Why would they deviate from that engine?

They would have reeled in a lot more fish had they speculated a high output TT V-6 as in the upcoming F-150 Raptor.
