I have the 2014 Sport in black but it’s paint has a metallic in it that the 2019 does not. How bad is the 2019 black Sport paint to keep looking nice? It will be run through car washes, etc. Thanks!

2019 Sport black paint

It depends on what you mean by "nice"
As you can see, my Explorer was black. I was a bit of a nut job and I washed it three or four times a week. ( I was single then too)
But it was a show truck. I treated it as such.
Black is a maintenance nightmare, but nothing, nothing, nothing looks better when it is nice and shiny.
If it is your daily driver, and you treat it like a daily driver and that is all you expect of it, you will be fine.
If you want it to look great, then you need to be prepared to put in the effort.
