4 hi and 4 lo lights flashing

Im working on installing a remote start, keyless entry system and now when I drive my explorer every time I get between 45 and 50 mph the 4 hi and lo lights flash for about 7 seconds. Any ideas?

There is a fix for that posted... search for blinking lights

Definately try searching.. The causes can be numerous from a bad hall sensor to a dirty shift motor, etc.. Moving to the Under hood & Driveline section.

I had the lights flashing after long highway driving and after a few months I had it every time I started the car and it was a speed sensor in the transfer case.

Find a transmission shop or so, which reads out the codes for cheap and then you should know
