you already have a multi-leaf set up on youe sport. only after 95 did they change the sport to mono-leaf.

Yes it will work. Someday here soon I plan to do the same on my Sport.
FYI, the older sports had one less leaf then the 4-doors and tend to sag after a bit of being spring over. Which is why I am replacing mine.
