I have a 2002 Explorer Sport Trak and just noticed that the 4x4 light does not come on and it will not switch into 4 wd. I checked all the fuses in both the fuse panel and the Distribution box and all seem to be OK. I noticed that right next to the distribution box is the 4x4 motor. How can I check this to see if that is what it is? Also what else can I check before taking it to the dealer. Of course it is out of waranty. I consider myself mechanicly inclined so any help would be appreciated. Thanks again
