How low is the line pressure? A shift kit does not boost the pressure. The boost valve is only 5 psi increase.
You can call either one and ask a tech to verify.

ill have to talk to the mechanic to get the #'s on the pressure...ive posted about this twice before but havent gotten any response

There are 2 pressure regulators, the (main pressure regulator and boost valve), which is valves and springs and the EPC solenoid. Line or main pressure can be low from a blown valve body gasket or a bad pump. If line pressure is ok and EPC pressure is low, could be caused by a blown valve body gasket, bad EPC solenoid, or an internal seal leak.
There is more than one thing that can cause low pressure, your mechanic should know this.

my posts "5r55e shift flare" and "5r55e nightmare" explains the origins of all this
