      Will they fit in a 2001 xlt? how much will i have to mod to make them fit? and will my amp in my deck be enough power for them? let me know..

      come on guys... im in the store and i need some info.... will the 6x9's fit? i know i will have to do some work to get them in.. but has anyone ever done it? could it work?

      yes the 6x9 will fit. make sure the depth is not to deep.

      is this gona be more of a pain in the ass then its worth? should i just go with 6x8

      not quiet sure. i'm pretty sure it'll be fine. you'll just have to make some holes to get them to fit. i'd say go for it if ya don't mind making new holes. if you do go w/ 6x8's

      Pioneer TS-A6867 6x8 3-ways 220 watts. I ordered a pair last week, and they should be in this week. Quite a few member have them and they love 'em!

      Yep, go with the 6x8s, much simpler. The total wattage doesn't much matter since (for a normal system), you aren't gonna put more than +/-50 watts in them anyway.

      Do you have any sbus or some other kind of speaker that will be driving the lower note? If you do then get the 6x8's because the extra cone surface will only matter if you will be driving them full range. I have the 2 way version of the 6x8's and they are awsome. and yes your HU will be enough to power them, but if you want more I think they can handle up to 50 watts RMS, which is plenty. Even if you don't have any subs, the extra 1/2 inch on either side won't make any difference.
