Hey everyone. I just started a dana 44 swap on my 86 F150. It is going pretty good and I am just about ready to mount the radius arm brackets. I know Im going to have problems with the steering linkage though. The part that wont fit is the tie rod that goes from the pitman arm to the knuckle, so Im thinking about using a heim joint setup. Where does everyone get their heim joints and rod ends for their sas's; and what type of tubing are you all using? Is it hard to setup a steering system using heim joints and rod ends? I have someone that can do the welding for me. Also, what size of heim joints are all you solid axle swap guys using?
Thanks,
Andy
