'92 A4LD into a '85 Ranger?

Hey guys...

A family member has a 85 Ranger with a bad tranny. The truck is 2.8L V6, 2WD, I think with a A4LD.

I have a A4LD from a '92 Explorer 2WD.

What kinda problems am I going to get into if I plug this tranny in his truck?

from what I gathered here (linky), this tranny swap should be pretty strait forward?

the 3-4 inhibit solenoid can be ignored??
