92 beater 4x4

hi all, this is my explorer. it is a 92 4 door factory 5 speed and manual t case. 150k miles, rusty and paint pealing.

built it for a cheap wheeler to slightly modified

day i picked it up from jersey for $1100

so finally go to do some work on the explorer. started my front winch mount.

plan was to keep it as low profile and close to the radiator core as i could get it. so got a winch plate from bud built and a 3ft piece of .25'' L channel. welded the plate right to the steel and bolted it to the frame.cut the grill out as needed. still need to mount the control pack, and gets some bolts. not sure if i want a receiver hitch up front. but banged it out all within 3 hours....

say goodbye to that Sport grill! raped it

winch all done. went for a drive the other day and noticed a strong gas smell. gas was pouring from the tank, shut it off and nothing.... decided to cut a hole in the floor to take a peek. fuel pump lines had pinholes from rust. (forgot to take a pic)

new pump, fuel gauge now works! and patched it up.

this is my last update for the explorer form, its been real guys.......REAL QUIET!
