    is it possible to fit the motor and trans out of a 1997-2010 x into a 1994 x? I really like to body style of the 1st gen but i want a more reliable motor and trans in it. if not then what would my opinons be?

    Which motor?
    The SOHC, yes it will fit with some work, but I wouldnt call it a more reliable motor then the OHV. More powerful, yes. (for more info on this swap, look up Brett. thats his screen name on here.)

    The 5.0l, Yes its been done MANY times.

    You also have the option of installing the front sheet metal from a 1st gen onto a second Gen.
