i had some tranny problems and a guy that has been doing them for 30 + years "rebuilt" it. anyhow i cannot figure out for the life of me why the enigne won't turn when i get the tranny close , like within a 1/8 in. just locks up. i don't claim to be a guru, but i have but a few in. i turn the trogue converter both ways to get it in the pump, had it in and out 3-4 times now checkin to see if it is in the pump all the way , but the same result. can the pump or bellhousing be off enough somehow to keep it from pullin up all the way? lost here.... any help would be appreciated , thanks .
