Hi guys, I have just recently started having a few problems with my 99 ford explorer sport. It has started shifting weird, I now can not take off in drive my d
truck just revs up and does not go, I can still get reverse 1st and 2nd gears, I can take off and there is no slipping or anything. But if I go from 2nd and shift up into drive it will give me my gears, once I come onto it a bit harder she revs up and does not take off. Just before i had these problems i started getting a loud squealing or whistling sound coming from my truck somewhere around the engine or transmission area not sure if it is related. I have looked up on this shifting issue and see some ppl saying there is a shift sylinoid valve body gasket that goes, is this the problem or what else could be causing it, fluids are clean and levels seem to be good, Any help would be great thanks, Josh.
