I've searched but have not found the same issue so I'm hoping ya'll can help.

I have a 2007 Sport Trac that i hopped in and turned the truck on and noticed a/c wasn't blowing out the regular vents. I had it on max a/c so i tried another setting..i think floor and regular and it worked for a little then stopped but I noticed it was coming out of defrost and floor vents. I then noticed the next day that when I hit the brakes it goes to regular vents for a couple seconds then back to defrost. What in the world would cause that?

May be a blend door.

I bought and changed the check valve and it still comes out the defrost. The rear ac vents blow normal even before changing it, which I don't understand. What now? :banghead:

it happened to me when a fuse blew. I replaced it and it went back to normal.

Which fuse did you replace? I'll go look at that one and see if it's blown.

I’m not sure which fuse but I installed a aftermarket stereo and it started. Be sure to check the fuses under the dash by the obd port.

I found the fuse and replaced it but that didn't help. What should I try next?
