Good evening,
I am replacing a compressor, orifice tube, and accumulator for the first time on a 2007 Ford Explorer Limited 4.0L V6. I ordered the parts from Napa and verified that I have the correct parts. My problem is that when I try reconnecting the a/c lines to the accumulator, they are not sitting/fastening flush with the top of the accumulator. There is a small gap left and I cannot tighten the nuts any further. Perhaps I am putting the green o-rings and black slimline washers on incorrectly? Anyone else done this and had a similar issue? Thanks.
