I need to get rid of the A\C components. I have already installed a new "non-A\C" belt (for over a year), now I want to remove all components (compressor, tubing etc.). I need to know the way to do it, I figured that I would remove everything and plug the entry at the heater core, but is that enought ??? For the refrigerant, it's already out of the system...

not to thread jack but can you anwser a question? can you bypass the compressor by just changing the belt or does the compressor need to be pulled. my A/C has long since died and and the bearings are shot and getting noisy.
