Adding towing after purchase

I just bought a 2017 Ford Explorer that had everything i wanted except for TOWING.

The dealer promised they could add it and said that it would take about 6 months for it to become available.

I bought it with that assurance.

Can anyone confirm that can be done - and if so, what they will need to do it?

It can be done, no problem.
They'll add a hitch (duh)
complete wiring harness for trailer lights, brakes.
transmission cooler.

I would want to see it in writing as anything verbal isn't binding.
