im getting ready to buy a 3" body lift for my 92 sport and was wondering if when i lift the body, does the air intake get in the way or does the engine and everything lift with the body? because if it doesn't, it looks like the radiator is connected to the body and the air intake is right above the radiator. I dunno im new to most of this stuff. Im more into mechanical work.

The body lift kit should come with fan shrowd drop brackets. They will lower the fan shrowd so that the stock air intake tube (maf to tb) will not be an issue.

ok here it goes...the engine is bolted to the frame. the fan is bolted to the engine..when you lift the body..you lift it off of the frame..so the enine does not go with it..neither does the fan. however the shroud for the fan, is infact bolted to the body..so it lfts up with the body when you do the body lift. in order to fix that..and kep the shrowd at the regular height which in turn keeps the air intake tubing in the proper place (because it is resting on the fan shrowd) the body lift it should come with a "fan shrowd drop bracket"..this will not actually drop anything..it will move the mounting position of the shrowd on thebody to a lower point ont he body..so when the boyd goes up 3in..the mounting hole goes down 3in to compenste..therefor you are mounting the shrwod in a new hole..but at the same height as it was on the body befor the body moved..so ther ya go..anything else?
