Amp works 1/2 the time..

My mono amp that powers my Subs only works when 1) i start my car it works for about 30 seconds then it shuts down and 2) when i put the volume of my radio high. Otherwise if the volume is not that high, my subs do not work. The amp is still on though and it just started happening a few weeks ago. Any suggestions?

do you have the subs wired properly and everything? Probably need a bit more info, and you'll probably have to double check all your wiring.

What brand amp is it? What is the remote wire hooked up to? Are you using high level inputs on the amp or RCA's off the deck? More info, drown us with info then we can help.
