Engine idling rough and when the pedal is floored it will backfire and miss real bad until I let up on the gas. The check engine light will either flash or will stay on. So far I had the throttle body cleaned, a new ignition coil, and IAC idle air control motor replaced. The check engine light code was P1506. Is it possible that it could be either the fuel filter, fuel pump or bad spark plug?
Banjoes (explorer idle and acceleration problems) mine sounds like the problems you are having. Have you found the problem yet?

did you make sure all your spark plug wire boots at the plug are seated? my v-8 likes to slip the drivers side first plug and the last plug. then it does all that stuff.
