BT is referring to the new Apple mobile device Operating System 5 due out in August.
We want to know if the iOS5 has enabled MAP Bluetooth protocol (Message Access Protocol)
This is what allows SYNC to translate the text messages on the iPhone to speech via Bluetooth.
