Hello
I am in the process of starting a knife sharpening company. The business plan is to make arrive at someone house and sharpen knifes which mean s that I have my own power supply. the alternator that I have on my Explorer is rated for 130 amps and is stock. I believe it is this one in the link below. although I don't see any identification marking on the alternator. I don't know if I could see some if I take it off, which I really don't want to do. electrical rating and specs has always been something that has kinda confused me. I think this will be a good learning experience for me.

I know I need an inverter. My dad told me I want one that is rated for 25-50 Percent more than what I plan on drawing. I don't know yet if I will be running a laptop and a printer to create invoices. It would be a good idea I think to plan on doing that anyways. at the time of this writing I am not factoring in those power requirments.
If I am going to be powering this equipment off of an inverter,Do I need an alternator which that can provide more power?

Every knife sharpener that I have seen at the Farmers Market powers their equipment on a Honda EU2000I at least because they can not idea their vehicle at market. I am wondering if I should just get one of these instead.

I hope this is enough information for those of you that can help me with this.
Thank you.
