I am having an issue with the stock audio system. Occasionally, the sound will drop out as if the speakers are unplugged. The power remains on and the cd will run but no sound. If I hit a bump in the rod just right or slam a door then it will come back.
I have pulled the head unit and the wiring harnesses look good and the aftermarket add-ins (DVD player) have good soldered connections.
Has anyone else seen (or heard) this? Does anyone have a schematic of the head unit or the wiring harnesses?
