Hi there. I'm new to the forum. I'm here because I'm about to jump into the world of Explorer ownership. When it comes to knowledge, I'm just a beginner, which makes it hard to assess the vehicles I have to choose from in order to purchase one. I've decided that I want a 2nd Gen model. Most likely 1999-2001. I've been combing over the ads for the ones for sale here at the moment, trying to work out what's different from year to year. One thing I discovered yesterday is that there was an interior trim option for dark graphite color from 1999 onwards. Can anyone tell me if that option was available in Australia? I've yet to see one for sale and I suspect we never got that option.
