Automatic headlight upgrade

Ok I have an 03 Eddie bauer that I'm using for parts on my newly purchased 05 xlt and I want to put auto lights in it but can't figure out how to make it work I have swapped the light sensor on dash, headlight switch, and vsm and verified the wiring is there for it to function but still nothing any thoughts

I have a 2004 XLT with automatic headlight sensor that I would like to put on my 2005 XLT, I’ll keep you guys posted if I find anything or figure anything out, it may be a while I’m currently in the process of adding a pre Oiler, tuner and a couple other things.

2002 Explorer Without Day Time Running Lights. Do keep in mind the wiring diagrams change drastically year to year from 2002 to 2005.
