Backup Camera For a 2013 Base Model Explorer

I am looking to add a backup camera to a 2013 Ford Explorer (Base). I understand that there are plenty of options out there. But my questions and project is kind of different. The dash/radio screen on my 2013 explorer is exactly like the one I have on my 2015 Ford escape wich is Ford Sync. The 2015 ford Escape currently has a preinstalled backup camera that uses the ford sync screen as a video. I want to be able to duplicate the same process in the 2013 ford explorer. Is this even possible? since they are pretty much same sizes screen, functions and ford sync. Any help would be gladly appreciated. Pictures, sites, schematics and ideas are welcomed as well

It will be expensive to use an OEM camera. Using an aftermarket camera may be a better option. But it can be displayed on the OEM 4.2 screen.
