Hi, I am new to this site and have a question. We bought a used 2011 Ford Explorer XLT and we love it. Upon replacing the battery, we realize a triangular bolt was missing to secure the battery down.
Went to the Ford dealership and they said it is called a Battery Connector Wedge. They don't sell it, nor for several auto stores. I would have to replace the entire connection for $200+ dollars.
This seems silly to since it is such a small part. My only options right now are 2 salvage yards in Aurora IL. There is no guarantee I'll find it.
My question is are there any other options for ordering this small part? My internet search isn't coming up with anything.
