Hey everyone, so I'm going to upgrade the big 3 on my Explorer and I had a question which i couldn't find an solid answer to. My question is: Do I have to put an inline fuse between the 0 gauge wire that I am running from the alternator to the positive on the battery?

No you do not have to put an inline fuse there.

You don't have to bit it wouldn't hurt. If your rectifier goes out on the alternator and can't control how much amps it puts out than you can run a chance of burning up your wire. A lot of companies that sell the ho alternators are gonna recommend it
