Ok, I know that this question has been asked before, but there is too much stuff to look at in a search.

What are the drawbacks and advantages to a body lift? I know people don't like 'em, but there are people who do like 'em, I just would like to know why it is that way. Please help.

      Advantages
1.More room to work between body and frame, makes tranny and TC swaps easier
2.More body clearance over obstacles (i.e. frame takes hit first)
      3.Tire clearance
      4.Doesn't raise the CG much

      Disadvanatges
      1.Looks ugly
2.Stuff that would normally bolt right on has to be modified
3.Clearance under the frame (and stuff attached to it) not increased
      4.Doesn't provide extra wheel travel
      5.Engine harder to work on
      6.Many things need relocating

BL's are great. An inexpensive way to get 31-32's under there. I personally can't think of any cons, except it's a little harder to take you spare off the first time.
