Ok searched, read for 2 days I found the parts I need please check me

2.8 c5 bell housing and flexplate and spacer plate
rebuild c5 with c4 valve body, use c5 toque conveter
I going to try too make colum shift work, but will grab floor shift just in case
going to get lokar kickdown cable
ok the stuff I am not clear on do I need to get bronco 2 transfer case or can I use the eletric shift t-case I have, I think I can use it but just want to make sure.
Also if some one has done this swap to they have the drive shaft length for a 94 4 door model. That way I could have them built before truck is on my lift and have this project done quickly.

any snags you guys can think of would be great is you point them out

wiring is not going to be a promblem,

The early Ranger and BII case is a BW1350, the 1354 in your explorer is basically the same, it will bolt up to the C5.

You will need to measure the yoke to yoke for the driveshafts after it is all installed, you will likely be able to run your current rear shaft until you can get it lengthened, we are only talking 2" or so I believe.

I assume your truck is already an automatic?
You can make your column shifter work, you can remove the 1 detent and change the display to 1-2-D instead of 1-2-D-OD
