I was watching tough truckin on Spike this morning. They showed Camp jeep in Cal. What a joke it was. All the so called obsticals they went over. a stock Ex could do in 2wd. On there "trail ride" I have taken my Ex on rougher stuff in 2wd.
Jeep is wanting to show yuppies how to off road. Why to have more crapachino sucking yuppies on the trails, no thank you.
all I can say is: Screw your jeep thing

I saw that too. Like someone really needs to be taught how to drive through 6 inches of water. I've never actually been there, nor do I know much about it, but the fact that they have a bunch of vehicles for people to drive is cool.

Umh...look around at all those soccer moms driving expeditions... They drive there huge SUVs like they were made of glass... Every dealership should have a mini 4x4 course out back where the soccer moms can learn to hop curbs and dash through 4" of water without calling AAA..

    There's a Hummer "camp" too. I think it's more for H1s.

I have never been that crazy about jeeps. However, the more people especially people with money and vote, the better off all offroaders are. You are not going to see those people on real trails. If enough people want public lands open to 4x4s then the government is compelled to open the land and trails. I only regret that jeep is the only American group encouraging off roading. It tells me that Ford is not really building any real off-road capable vehicles (except the level II).

This is a place to start. You don't take a soccer mom to moab and turn her loose.

The yuppies do it anyway. lol

There's a Jeep rental place in Ouray for the rich yuppies. I was up wheeling some trails when this guy blasts past me and hit a big rock, gouged a hole in his oil pan. Thats gonna suck. You could see the trail of oil all the way to where he fried the engine. Thats gotta be an expensive trip.
