I work at radio shack and there is a nice sale on all memory cards. If you want to upgrade check thier prices because I ahve been told they are cheaper than BB and CC

Some are faster than others. If you get a slow card, it may take longer before the camera is ready to take the next shot (you have to wait until the data is transferred onto the card). Also, it may not work as well when recording video.

I bought a Canon S1IS last fall before a trip to New Zealand. With the 256 MB card, I can take approx 154 pics at the highest resolution. With the 32 card, only about 18. Yours should be similar as they are both 3.2 MP.

I'm already having alot of fun with it (even though it was the wifes gift ;) ), I just purchased the MH-C204 GT Combo Kit w/ the powerex batteries - the life on these things are incredible rechargable and they're lasting me easily 3 to 4 times longer than regular AA's

If you think 32mb cards are bad, you should try 16mb. :thumbdwn: That's what I currently have in my Canon Powershot A300. I leave it on the high resolution setting and can only get about 16 sec of video(which is what I mainly use the camera for). I bought a new memory card on ebay though, a 512mb. I haven't received it yet, but it should be pretty nice.

The rechargeable batteries are a must for me and also last ATLEAST 4-5 times longer than the regular AA batteries. Have fun with your new camera :)
