Car Alarm Issue

Hello,

I apologize if this question has already been asked/answered, but I did not see it listed.

I have a 2003 Ford Explorer Eddie Bower Edition - 150k miles.

Today I began having an issue where I was driving down the road and the car alarm starting going off. I pulled over, put the vehicle into park, shut it off and restarted it but the alarm did not stop going off. Tried hitting the alarm button using the factory ford remote, but that didn't shut it off either. After about two minutes, it shut off on its on.

Took it to my brother who is a mechanic, and he tried running for codes. I believe the only one that showed up was a "Parking Lamp Relay"?

While I was with my brother, sitting in my car (Car shut off). The doors randomly locked and 5 seconds later the alarm activated again, as it had done earlier.

Any one ever had this issue or have any ideas? (I also have a after market remote start installed on my vehicle, not sure if that could be related)

Shorted out remote? But I don't think the panic button on it works with the engine running...
