Cargo and side view mirror lights stays on.

The cargo and side view mirror lights will not turn off. I have to remove the bulbs to keep them from running down the battery. Could this be an ignition switch problem?

light switch would be a stronger option
if you rotate the dimmer switch to a certain point it will turn on interior lights and cargo lamp, which may not be your case since you didn't mention interior lights staying on
Since the lights mentioned are also controlled by the convenience module when unlocked remotely (to light up the truck) - that could be the issue

the ignition switch only supplies power to all those circuits, so unless you are saying the truck stays on with key out of the switch it is not a problem
