Well, since both Ashli and I are still unemployed, we've been struggling to come up with inexpensive gift ideas that are fun. Here's my first prototype of the soon-to-be-famous marshmallow gun :)

Less than $2 in 1/2" PVC materials, a little paint, a few mini-marshmallows and a wholelotta fun :bounce: Put the mini-marshmallow in the top tube, blow into it like a blowgun, and it'll fire one all the way across the house :D

How about some other inexpensive ideas/things that are lotsa fun? What's on your list?

Another cheap, actually no cost gift is a gift of some of your time; volunteer down at the salvation Army feeding the homeless.

This is a gift that really makes you feel good....

Thanks Bill - and just think, each one will have its own individual camo job, so no two will be the same! ;) Maybe I should number them, LOL.

Yeah Al we've been doing lots of volunteer work with teenagers in our church and last week we drove to Charlotte to help load the Operation Christmas Child gift shoeboxes to be distributed around the world. The day we did it, they were all going to the Ukraine. I think Operation Christmas Child is sending something like 1.6 million gift boxes to impoverished kids this year  That was a pretty neat feeling to help do that.

And a Merry Christmas to you and yours too, Al.

...I'm sure there will be a large Merry Christmas thread started in the next couple of days :)

I will go ahead and bite the bullet...I am feeling mighty festive. :D

Another one is CDs filled with family pictures, you can give them to computer literate family and friends, that way they can look through your family pictures and even pictures from when you spent time with your friends at a party or what not. Kinda sappy, but you could also make a power point presentation that is narrarated with music or your voice, kind of like a year in review with pictures.
