This pic shows how the motor is a little crooked side to side. It measures out about 3/4 of an inch ****ed towards the passenger side. I'll fix it tomorrow!

The center should be at 12" not 12 and 3/4.

again off center good look at it_web.jpg

Here is one more from the front

I'm guessing you live in East County somewhere cause I know my neighbors in Scripps Ranch would die if I was using a bobcat to do a motor swap in the front yard. They're gonna die when I start the cage in my next project and bust out the chop saw all day for a couple weekends in a row!!!

heh, Nope, I live right in Clairemont. I would use a hoist but there isnt one that will pick high enough. Actually scripps ranch isnt far at all.

ok next things going on.....
1) I repositioned the motor. It looks right now.
2) I started working on the Ac condensor next. I want to mount the Ac condensor in front of the radiator to make room for the radiator to be tucked under the front support. A couple of things were neede to make this happen.
-First I had to cut off the hood release lever....(I will Reposition it later)

- Next thing for this was to "mock" up the ac condensor and see where to drill holes. I figured out where i wanted it. Then I re-bent the top mounts and marked, then drilled new holes for mounting purposes.
Next, I wanted to widen the area for my radiator so I heated and re-bent the tubes on the ac condensor. The inlet and exit tubes are now about 2 inches out further where the enter through the support toward the engine. This means 2 inches each giving me about 4 more inches in width on my new radiator. Here is a couple of pics of the newly bent tubes. Sorry i should have got a before but you could probably look at your own for a comparison. It was a dramatic difference and a pain in my ass to do it without damaging the condensor....

The next thing for this was a big one and that was to get a billet grill which freed up a lot of room behind it for the Ac condensor....

Next was to widen the area under the front support for the new radiator so I spent about 3 hours today grinding the hell out of my front support to get more room under there for a custom radiator. here is a pic before I started........
