Well, put me down for one person and one small RV. :) I'll call and make a reservation as soon as I decide which days it will be for sure.

I’m still a maybe for this trip... I’m pretty sure I could get the time off from work. However I’m not super confident in the health of the engine of the Explorer:( Don’t worry about trying to get a reservation for me, if I can make it I’ll figure something out for camping. Whether that’s a spot at the KOA or something more primitive

      Here’s to hoping I can make it:chug:

I'm a maybe and if I do go I am primitive camping in the area.

I am really thinking of primitive camping also. I have before at trail heads and had no issues.

Well, if everyone is planning on primitive camping (and everyone is going as a bachelor), I could probably be persuaded to primitive camp, and bring Gmans Big Tent. If our numbers are as few as it appears so far, and the tent is as big as he claims it is, we could all fit in one tent. One tent, one site, save on camp fees, and definitely save on gas. Of course some folks prefer their own place at night and I understand that. Just a suggestion I thought I'd throw out there. If it looks like that might work I'd have to set it up first in the backyard to see just how big it is and what kind of shape its in. I haven't set it up since I got it.

That could help out anyone who wants to primitive camp but doesn't have a tent.

Yeah Traveler, you should practice setting it up and see for yourself. Only been a year, since you have had it. lol

It will sleep 4 adults very comfy, with room for gear, but takes 2 people to set up. ;)

It would be nice to see the famous Explorer. I saw the 2 or 3 episodes you were in for Dirt Every Day. :)

Well an update... any chances of me going are gone. I was doing some checking on the engine today, and cylinder 6 (middle cylinder driver side) is showing early signs of a bad head gasket. It’s not real bad right now, but I won’t trust it on a 6 plus hour drive there. So unfortunately I won’t be able to make it:(

      TJ & Regina are going.

Haven't heard a peep from Chad lately, but I thought he was going.

ScottB said he was, but again, haven't heard from him in a while either.

      Brian1 is still a maybe.

Your in charge of rounding up all those CO peeps, get the rope out. lol

I am going to have to sit this one out.

I was hoping to run Colorado for a few days on my way to California, but if I do, I won't have enough time in Cali.

I really need to get back to Colorado - hopefully next year..

I'm still planning on going at this point. But sure would like to see more folks get from the "maybe" list and on the "gonma be there" list. WormsExplorer, when are you planning on arriving at KOA?

Hey this is TJ. Sorry I had to make a new profile, I guess I can’t remember what the heck my log in or password was. I don’t ever get on here just the Facebook page. Anyways myself and Regina will be there from 8/26-9/2 , so we can meet up with you guys on Friday and Saturday. We already have reservations at the KOA. My buddy from Grand Junction will be there as well, but he has a Jeep.

Well that is great news! Don't worry, we'll go easy on it so the jeep can keep up. Hehe
I'll be there Saturday evening, and took the whole week off.

Haha yeah I usually give him a lot of crap. At least it’s an older CJ-7 and not like every Jeep up there on the trails. New rubicon’s that all look the same. He was gonna try to get some lockers but not sure if he did. I know he has 33’s and besides we meet every year up there and run every trail we can. He is only 2 hours north and I am 2.5 hours south.

Oh yeah. I love it up there. I look forward to this week all year long. If you are going to be there all week you are welcome to tag along with us on trails unless you have other plans.
