Considering used 4th gen - V6 vs. V8

Yes, he did add that 2nd hitch later - which means it does NOT have the tow package.

What exactly does it mean to have a Tow Package on these trucks? Is it just having an additional oil cooler or are there other factory differences? Gear ratio? Bigger Heat Exchanger/Radiator? Brakes? Suspension?

The one I went to see is a 5-speed (4 Gears and Overdrive). The guy said he bought it for towing to/from California during a move last year. He got it in September 2013 with 113k miles and it has now 140k miles.

If it has no Tow package is it still worth it to add an oil cooler and move on? Or, wait until another comes around? I can get this one for $7500 (See link - 08 Monty Premier AWD V8).

It seems that the Tow Package gives you 2" receiver and the tranny cooler, but also the 7 and 4 plug under the bumper.
