1994 2.3 L 2WD Ranger
Hi all -

I can't seem to find the spec in my manual.

There wasn't a lot of resistance taking them (4 bolts) off (20-30 ft-lb?).

This is for a 1994 SOHC 2.3 L MT 2WD Ranger.

Also, would I be OK using some blue locktite on them?

Thanks!

- Bill

the crankshaft pulley bolt should be betweeb 21-28 ft lbs. of torque
and the crankshaft pulley and hub assembly bolt should be between 103-133 ft. lbs. of torque.

Crankshaft mysteries - Thanks! What about the Loctite?

Hi and thanks again.

Any thought(s) on using Loctite on the pulley bolts?

i wouldn't bother with loctite on the bolts. as long as you use a torque wrench you should be fine.
