d35 carrier for 4.88 gears

      i am finally getting together things for my gear install and i once heard a new carrier was needed if going to 4.88 in the d35? where can i get that if i need it? current gears are 3.73

      Why do you need a new carrier? The 4.88 should fit as far as I know in the stock one.

      Some bigger sized thick gears call for a carrier that is used for 3.73 at a minimum, but I haven't seen where that is called for in the D35.

      ok well i guess we will find out, i have my gears on order and axle on the bench.... lol i will post back regardless of the results
