Dana 44 knuckles

If I were to go ahead and swap the dana 44 knuckles onto my D35 the results are that I wont have the problem of my bearings buring up all the time because the are spaced farther apart correct??

but the down side it that now I will have a 5 on 5 1/2 bolt patter up front....what could I do to the rear to get 5 on 5 1/2??

1. buy a spacer that converts 5x4.5 to 5x5.5
2. buy universal rims that fit both sizes(uses different holes)
3. 9" in rear
4. new shafts maybe?? I heard old F150's and expeditions used 8.8s

I was wonder about replacing those shafts.
dan you have anymore info on that?

You can have a set of axles custom made that have the 5x5.5" pattern (Rick has some on his X).
