Deployed pretensioner??

Sorry, but I can't tell if it has been deployed or not. :dunno:

Many have fixed this issue by checking the connector and making sure that it is fully seated. I did this on the driver side when I was getting LFC 33. Worth a shot since it won't cost anything but your time.

Having said that:

Ford has a TSB for this problem. Here it is. It is basically just a new wiring assembly.

This may be caused by intermittent pretensioner connection at either seat belt buckle.

I have read (and I can tell using a multimeter), that the yellow connector underneath the seat has a resistor connecting both wires.

I guess I cannot just cut the wires and solder new connectors. What did you do with yours?

The pretensioner was indeed deployed. It read 85 ohms when I took it out. I bought a new one and light is gone. It seems like pretensioners may deploy while airbags may not.

Thank you
