I am running a 1974 rebuilt 302 with a 4 bbl carb. It apparently not legal due to the fact that it doesn't have the required emissions equipment (EGR) on it.
I have the EGR adapter plate, but the stock 1960's manifold doesn't have the port in the flange to match it. Instead of changing the manifold, I am thinking I could drill a small hole down into the exhaust crossover to match the port on the plate.
Think this will work?
Anyone done it before?
