Exhaust Manifold Dimensions

Hey folks, I am working on a project for the ol' X and am in need of precise measurements for the exhaust manifold.

This is for the V8 manifold.

What I need
1) Distance between manifold studs. Center to Center across the top and from upper to lower.
2) Distance from the flat face that bolts to engine and the furthest point from the engine.

What would help a great deal
1) Measurements of clearance from the face of the exhaust ports to anything in the way. Mainly the frame, or anything that cannot be removed.


If anyone can help with that I would greatly appreciate it. This little project will benefit the community if I can achieve my goals here.

Making a template/jig?

Have a set of gaskets, so here are the stud bolt-up dimensions:
Centreline across - 4"
Centreline top to bottom - 3 7/16"

My son replaced manifolds on his Sports Trac recently. Took the inner fender liners out and this gave him the room needed to get the job done.
