explorer dies

      1993 xlt 4.0L pushrod
      have 93 ford explorer at around 25k rpm it just quits. no fault codes no power and the rpm drops below like 15k rpm it comes back to life. I have repaced the crank shaft position sensor. It worked for a while and then got worse again. I am asking if any one else has had the problem

      I would check the IAC valve it may be sticking open or jambed shut.
